This notice covers disrupteddaisy.com and orders placed through its Shopify store.

What I collect and why

When you browse or buy, I may receive your name, contact and delivery details, order and payment status, messages, newsletter choice, and technical information such as IP address, device and browsing activity. Shopify and payment providers process payment card details; I do not need your full card number to fulfil an order.

I use order information to take payment, dispatch goods and handle questions, returns and customer service (performance of our contract); retain required business and tax records (legal obligation); prevent fraud and protect the site (legitimate interests); and operate and improve the site (legitimate interests where permitted, or consent for optional cookies). If you choose to subscribe, I use your email to send the Vintage Fit Guide and occasional news and drops (consent). Unsubscribe in any email or contact me. I do not add someone to marketing merely because they bought an item.

Who receives information

Shopify hosts the store and provides checkout, customer, email and security tools. Payment providers process payments. Royal Mail or another agreed carrier receives details needed to deliver an order. Providers helping with hosting, email, analytics or accounting may process only what is needed. Instagram and other linked sites have their own privacy notices. Shopify may process information for its own purposes as explained in its consumer privacy notice. I do not sell my customer list.

How long and where

I keep order and accounting records for periods required by tax and consumer law. Messages are retained as long as needed to handle the matter. Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe or I stop the list, subject to a limited suppression record to honour your choice. Shopify and other providers may process data outside the UK using applicable adequacy decisions or appropriate transfer safeguards where required.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information, or object to certain uses. You may withdraw newsletter and optional cookie consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email me to make a request. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk; I would welcome the chance to address your concern first.

Children and changes

This store is for adults and I do not knowingly collect children's information for marketing. I may update this notice as services change and will post the new date here.
